ABOUT THE WEST COAST FISH GROUP
We are owned by the Swedish West Coast Fishermen's Central Association (SVC), which comprises 300 West Swedish fishermen. The group is a committed corporate group that together covers the entire chain from the moment the fish or shellfish are caught from the sea to the finished seafood product.
Our shared mission is clear – we must strengthen Swedish fishing and Swedish fish production. By making it easier for everyone to choose Swedish-produced seafood, we are creating the conditions for a long-term, profitable and sustainable Swedish fishing industry!
The group includes the companies Sweden Seafood in Gothenburg, Sweden Shellfish in Bua, Sweden Pelagic in Ellös, Gothenburg Fish Auction, Fastighetsaktiebolaget Sjötungan and Sjömansfrämjandet. We also manage Fiskets hus in Fiskhamnen.
Västkustfisk Gruppen has its head office in Fiskets hus in the heart of Gothenburg Harbour.
Swedish Seafood
With an efficient and modern filleting plant, Sweden Seafood has the capacity, within its existing environmental permit, to produce and process up to 4,000 tonnes of goods per year.
Swedish Shellfish
Sweden Shellfish was founded in 2009 and has continuously developed within the latest technology to maintain its leading position among suppliers of prepared shellfish.
Sweden Pelagic
Sweden Pelagic specialises in the processing of herring. The main production consists of herring fillets, cut herring fillets and butterfly herring in vinegar or spiced brine in tubs.
Gothenburg Fish Auction
With an efficient and modern filleting plant, Sweden Seafood has the capacity, within its existing environmental permit, to produce and process up to 4,000 tonnes of goods per year.

The West Coast Fish Group's organisation
The group comprises companies in the fishing industry, primarily on the Swedish west coast. Västkustfisk Gruppen is owned by the organisation's members in the Swedish West Coast Fishermen's Central Association (SVC).
The companies included in the group are: Sweden Seafood, Sweden Shellfish, Sweden Pelagic, Sjömansfrämjandet, Östersjöfabriken, Nordiska Fiskmässan, Göteborgs Fiskauktion.
