Speculative job application

Sweden Pelagic AB receives herring directly from fishing vessels and prepares top-quality Swedish herring raw material for, among others, the canning industry in Sweden and the rest of Europe. We sort, fillet, spice, and marinate the herring and then pack it into barrels.
We are looking for additional staff for our high season, starting at the end of July.

The duties include, amongst other things, quality control and packaging of herring, preparation of herring, and washing of barrels. We would like you to be organised and quality-conscious, as well as interested in food production. You are also self-motivated, flexible, enjoy a fast pace and are prepared to put in that extra bit of effort needed to achieve a good result. The employment is a fixed-term position during the day as needed, with full-time hours at least during August and September, before tapering off a little later in the autumn.

If needed, we have access to accommodation adjacent to the workplace for those who live a bit further away.
We are covered by a collective agreement with the Swedish Food Workers' Union.
